Russia's 8th Brigade soldiers exposed as occupiers of Ukraine's Donbas. PHOTOS
War criminals from the special operations battalion of the 8th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (OMSBr) of Russia's Armed Forces have been exposed as involved in hostilities in the Donbas.
Censor.NET reports citing an article by InformNapalm OSINT group.The investigators are looking at a photo of Russian soldiers from the 8th OMSBr that was published for the first time in fall of 2014 (slide No. 8). The depicted military fought in the Ukrainian Donbas in August - September 2014. In February 2017, investigators were able to identify the location (Sukhodilsk neighborhood, the Luhansk region, Ukraine) as well as one of the 19 soldiers in the picture (D. Salikhanov). Six more occupiers from among those posing before the camera have been identified since then: two officers and four contract fighters.

1. Roman Vogachev

Born in Beloretsk (the Republic of Bashkortostan) on Oct. 22, 1989. As of 2015, served in the 8th OMBR of the Russian Armed Forces at the rank of senior lieutenant. Graduated from the Yekaterinburg Higher Artillery Command School in 2012.

2. Pavel Arefyev

Born in Penza (the Russian Federation) on June 13, 1987. As of 2016, served in the 8th OMBR of the Russian Armed Forces at the rank of captain. Graduated from the Kolomna Higher Artillery Command School.

3. Alexander Yurin

Born in Samara (the Russian Federation). As of 2017, serves in the 8th OMBR of the Russian Armed Forces as a contract soldier.

Born in Astrakhan (the Russian Federation) on March 30, 1992.
As of 2016, served in the 8th OMBR of the Russian Armed Forces as a contract soldier.

Born in Kharabali (the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation) on August 18, 1993.

6. Sergey Matyushenko

Born in Kamyshin (the Volgograd region of the Russian Federation) in 1994.

Along with previously identified D. Salikhanov, seven more war criminals from the 8th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade have been identified so far. Further efforts are being taken to uncover the identity of others.
