''Poroshenko sign amnesty!" car run started in Kyiv. PHOTOS+VIDEO
Right-wing activists gathered at Kontraktova Square to start a car run towards President Petro Poroshenko's estate in Kozyn near Kyiv, demanding to sign an amnesty law for anti-terrorist operation (ATO) soldiers.
Such movements as 'National Corps', the 'Svoboda' Legion, the Right Sector, C14 movement, veteran organizations and public activists take part in the car run, Censor.NET reports citing C14 Facebook."The only reason for Poroshenko's delay in signing [an amnesty - Ed.] is the demand of a secret protocol of the Minsk agreements, where it was promised that the ATO soldiers can only be granted amnesty along with separatists and murderers. It is unacceptable to compare Ukrainian soldiers and separatist killers!," the C14 statement reads.
The bill No. 4255 on granting pardon in 2016 was voted by Verkhovna Rada on December 22, 2016. On March 24, the law was signed by the Chairman of Verkhovna Rada and sent to the president of Ukraine. Poroshenko is still hesitating with signing.
C14 emphasizes that the pardon does not concern those who committed grave crimes.
According to the correspondent of Censor.NET, about 100 vehicles participate in the rally.
