Fighter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who was fatally wounded in Russian militants' shelling of Zaitseve on July 12 is resident of Zhovkva town, the Lviv region, Volodymyr Turchyn, born in 1990.
This was announced by member of Zhovkva city council Ihor Muravskyi on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.He wrote that Turchyn was born in 1990 and drafted to military service in May 2015, and signed a contract later. He was severely wounded in shelling committed by Russian terrorist troops upon Ukrainian positions in Zaitseve, the Donetsk region, with the use of IFV weapon and small arms.
Turchyn died of wounds in a hospital three hours later.
The council member and the state administration of Zhovkva district extended their condolences to the family of Turchyn.




As reported by ATO HQ press service, a Ukrainian military died of fatal wounds received in Zaitseve shelling in the morning of July 12.
