In the evening of Aug.16 Ukrainian military held a rehearsal of the military parade that will take place on Ukraine Independence Day on Aug. 24.
Censor.NET correspondent reported.Defense Ministry Stepan Poltorak said it was the first rehearsal.
"I am happy with the level of training of the personnel who participate in the parade. As well as with their mood and morale," the minister said.
He said each of the participating units has its flaws that it will have to correct.
Speaking of foreign troops' participation in the parade, Poltorak said there will be up to 10 units from different countries. Some will be full units, others just groups of color bearers with their country flags.
The minister said the majority of parade participants have fought in the Donbas, including cadets, 60 percent of who participated in the Donbas operation.
"We decided there would be no hardware this year, just some modernized and new units of equipment. Up to 70 pieces," Poltorak said.
