Scouts of Mariupol tactical force were awarded and promoted on their professional holiday, Scout Day, Sept. 7.

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Defense Ministry.

"Congratulatory message on behalf of the command said that the scout soldiers by their numerous exploits, skill and professionalism horrified the enemy, got fame and authority of the Ukrainian army when performing combat tasks in the area of the anti-terrorist operation, " the ministry said.

The scouts were also greeted by Mariupol schoolchildren.
