Most frequently asked questions about war

Author:

Censor.NET Editor-in-Chief Yurii Butusov gave his vision of the development of events and the path to victory in his answers to the most frequently asked questions about the war.

1. 1. How long will the war last?

- Until Ukraine stops the Russian offensive and the enemy realizes that it is impossible to destroy Ukraine by military means and is forced to negotiate.

2. What is victory for Ukraine?

- To stop the Russian offensive and to survive as an independent state with the maximum area and access to the Black Sea. Ukraine's existence is Putin's greatest defeat.

3. When will all this end and there be peace?

- As long as Putin's regime is in power in RF, the active or covert warfare will not stop, the threat to Ukraine from Russia will last for decades. We need to get used to living in a state of war - this is how Israel and South Korea live.

4. Can Ukraine liberate all the occupied territories by force and return to the 1991 borders?

- Yes, it can. If it concentrates forces that will have an advantage in munitions, high-precision weapons, drones and anti-drone systems, and a sufficient number of assault units. But if there is no such advantage, miracles will not happen by themselves.

5. What format for the suspension of hostilities seems realistic at the moment?

- Cessation of hostilities on the front line, which will be difficult to break through on both sides, as at the 38th parallel between North and South Korea.

6. Is it possible to stop Russia at the front?

Yes. There are many examples of our troops reliably stopping the enemy and inflicting heavy losses on the Russians. The Russians also lack personnel and are trying to advance the front with masses of infantry. Infantry is vulnerable to all types of weapons. The availability of high-precision weapons in the form of drones makes it possible to grind down any number of Russian troops. However, high-tech weapons require changes in tactics and employment of troops. We also need systematic efforts to protect our infantry - fortifications, anti-drone systems, and firepower cover.

7. Will Ukraine have enough strength?

- Ukraine has forces and resources, the main problem is its concentration and organization.  We do not need to become as large as Russia in general, we need to be large and strong in a particular place and at a particular time. The problem of creating superiority in war is not a problem of soldiers, it is a problem of management, organization and application by the top military and political leadership.
