Yevhenii Zhukov headed Ukraine’s Patrol Police from September 2015 to April 2026. He remained in the public spotlight thanks to his active work. His stance on key issues of security and public order made a significant contribution to the functioning of the National Police. Zhukov actively commented on current developments related to both Ukraine’s domestic security and external aggression. One such incident was the repeated arrest of General Yurii Halushkin, which the police chief commented on from the standpoint of justice and legality.
