Zelenskyy: Russians placed explosive-like objects onthe roofs of Zaporizhzhia NPP units. VIDEO
On evening of 4 July, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy traditionally addressed Ukrainians with a video address.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in Zelensky's telegram.
The Ukrainian President said: "Regarding the situation at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. Now the whole world must be aware that common security fully depends on global attention to the actions of the occupiers at the plant. Russia must clearly understand that the world sees what scenarios terrorists are preparing for, and the world is ready to respond.
Radiation is a threat to everyone in the world, and a nuclear power plant must be fully protected from any radiation incidents. Different countries have their own intelligence and other capabilities to know exactly what is happening and who is to blame.
Now our intelligence has information that the Russian military has placed explosive-like objects on the roof of several power units of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. Perhaps to simulate an attack on the plant. Perhaps they have some other scenario in mind. But in any case, the world sees - and cannot help but see - that the only source of danger to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant is Russia, and no one else.
Unfortunately, there was no timely and large-scale response to the terrorist attack on the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. And this may inspire the Kremlin to commit new evil. It is the duty of everyone in the world to stop it. No one can stand aside, because radiation leaves no one aside."
