Russian MiG-31 crashed in Murmansk region. VIDEO

In Russia, a plane crash involving a military aircraft occurred in the Murmansk region. A MiG-31 fighter jet crashed near the village of Ryzh-Guba. This was confirmed by Russian media. The pilots of the fighter jet reportedly managed to eject.

According to Censor.NET, the footage that appeared online shows the plane catching fire and falling down. It is not yet known what caused the crash.

The Russian Defence Ministry confirmed the downing of the military aircraft. It said that the fighter jet was conducting a planned training flight.
