Russian propagandists misrepresent footage from Uman as aftermath of Donetsk explosions. VIDEO
The Russian state-run Rossiya 1 TV channel aired video footage of a multi-storey building destroyed by a Russian missile in Uman, Cherkasy region, for allegedly being shelled by the Ukrainian army in occupied Donbas.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported in a story by Radio Liberty and Voice of America's "Present Time" project.
"Russian TV presented footage of a destroyed nine-storey building in Uman as 'shelling of Donbas by Ukrainian militants'.
The day before, on 28 April, a Russian missile destroyed an apartment building in Uman, Cherkasy region of Ukraine. At least 23 people were killed, including six children.
