The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi together with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant General Serhiy Shaptala conducted a visit to the command and control points of the troops of the operational command "North".
Censor.NET reports this with reference to the Facebook page of the Armed Forces Chief of Staff.
"The enemy continues systematic artillery shelling of the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions and uses sabotage and reconnaissance groups in the group's area of responsibility. Our servicemen remain vigilant, conduct reconnaissance and are constantly working to improve their defence capabilities," noted Zaluzhnyi.
"We are tracking the enemy in the North and are ready to give a worthy rebuff," the Armed Forces chief assured.
