On the 500th day of Russia’s full-scale invasion, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited Zmiinyi Island.

He posted a video of his visit to Zmiinyi on his social media, Censor.NET reports.

The President honored the Ukrainian heroes who fought for the island and liberated it.

"From this place of victory, I want to thank each of our soldiers for these 500 days. Our AFU, our intelligence, the National Guard, our border guards, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, our communications officers, our people! I thank you, I thank everyone who is fighting for Ukraine," Zelensky said.

"We will definitely win. Definitely," he added.
