Two explosions occurred near police stations in Lviv In the morning of July 14. Two law enforcement officers received injuries.
A police officer triggered a trip-wire actuating device at 9 a.m. The explosive device was planted at the entrance to the police station on Pluhova Street in Lviv. A representative of the Lviv region police told Ukrainski Novyny, Censor.NET reports.
The State Emergency Service officers and police have arrived at the scene.
"The injured 24-year-old police lieutenant has been taken to a hospital with multiple shrapnel wounds to the head and body. His condition is critical," the Interior Ministry reported later.
In addition, there was another explosion near the police station situated on 45 Yurii Lypa Street in the Shevchenko district of Lviv at 10 a.m. The blast injured a 31-year-old police inspector. The law enforcer has been brought to a hospital. The investigative team is working at the scene," the statement by the Interior Ministry reads.
