Even during pseudo-elections, FSB looks for new "candidates" and checks them for 4 hours on polygraph, - human rights defender Lysyansky. AUDIO

During the so-called elections in the occupied territory, which take place from 31 August to 10 September, Russians are actively recruiting "new" candidates for party lists. This is due to a staff shortage - in the temporarily occupied parts of Ukraine, the occupiers do not receive full support from the population.

This was reported by the director of the Institute for Strategic Studies and Security (ISRS) and the founder of the Eastern Human Rights Group, Pavlo Lysyansky, Censor.NET reports.

Thus, in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region, on the days when pseudo-elections are held, Russian political parties recruit new "candidates" and send them for a polygraph, a source of the Eastern Human Rights Group in the occupied territory said.

In particular, in an audio message posted in a closed group on Telegram, a representative of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation tells his staff that late at night he received instructions to put the "candidates" on the party list through a polygraph. The polygraph test lasts four hours. It is noted that some of the collaborators are weeded out.

"The Kremlin's supervisors have set a task to check all the candidates in the pseudo-elections. At the same time, the lists themselves are constantly changing - people are added and removed. The Russians demonstrate total distrust of the locals and do not hesitate to turn the 'election process' into a mere farce," Lysyansky said.
