The SDF destroyed an enemy MSTA-B cannon with a set of Krasnopol shells near Bakhmut.
According to Censor.NET, the video of the successful attack was posted by the SOF fighters on their social media page.
"As a result of the successful interaction between the SOF operators and the artillery of the Defence Forces, this carefully camouflaged target was destroyed in the Bakhmut direction. Another successful operation of search, target identification and fire adjustment by the tactical group "Medoids" of the 3rd separate SOF regiment," the commentary to the video reads.
The Krasnopol projectile has a rocket engine and hits an armoured target using laser guidance, which allows the target to be illuminated depending on the time of day and the size of the target at a distance of up to 20 kilometres. The market price of such a projectile is 35-40 thousand US dollars.
