First use of MIM-23 "HAWK" SAM against air target. VIDEO

The Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk has published a video showing the first use of the American MIM-23 "HAWK" SAM by a Ukrainian crew.

According to Censor.NET, the recording shows Ukrainian soldiers destroying an enemy air target.

A total of 1 battery from Spain and 8 additional launchers from the US and Spain were announced.

The MIM-23 Hawk is an American medium-range anti-aircraft missile designed to be a more mobile counterpart to the MIM-14 Nike Hercules, sacrificing range for a much smaller size and weight.
