Enemy threw into battle near Avdiivka units of"Wagner" PMC, - Butusov. VIDEO

The enemy infantry is currently under constant pressure near Avdiivka, with Russian troop losses in the area being many times higher than those of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

Yurii Butusov, editor-in-chief of Censor.NET, spoke about this on Channel 5 .

"The Russian offensive (on Avdiivka - Ed.) continues. They have changed their tactics, instead of tank columns, the enemy is attacking with infantry groups, small groups of infantry are constantly coming in and attacking. New reserves are approaching. Today (24 October - Ed.), for the first time, "Wagner" PMC units were used in assault operations," Butusov said.

He reminds us that in May, the Wagnerians were withdrawn from the frontline in Ukraine.

"The enemy's situation is such that they still threw even the Wagner into the battle again," the journalist added.

Butusov also expressed doubt that the enemy would be able to form a so-called cauldron around Avdiivka.

"Now the enemy has no chance to encircle our troops near Avdiivka... There is only one threat - the loss of some positions. Some of our units are without rotations. They hope to push through our defences," said the editor-in-chief of Censor.NET.

In addition, he noted that Ukrainian troops currently hold much more favourable positions than the enemy and have the ability to completely defeat the enemy in the Avdiivka area.
