Video footage of a battle between Ukrainian soldiers from the 47th Magura Brigade and Russian occupiers near Avdiivka in October this year. Repelling the invaders’ assault, several soldiers were wounded. Among them was Ukrainian filmmaker and former Russian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov.

"These are shots of the assault of Russian troops on our positions at the dawn of one of the days of this fall near Avdiivka. It is worth seeing for everyone who wants to understand what it is to be a Ukrainian military, who at "zero" today defends our country on one of the hottest sectors of the front. This is only one episode of this terrible war started against us by the enemy, but for our defenders this is daily work, for which, unfortunately, many have to give their lives. Fortunately, in this particular battle, all our heroes remained alive. But I want to draw attention to how our defenders treat the wounded and, in turn, wounded to their colleagues in difficult combat situations. Some are ready to carry the wounded on themselves, while others are asked to provide them with a machine gun and leave them in the trench - one on one with the enemy, "the commentary on the video record says.
