Ukrainian intelligence officers intercepted the communications of the pilot of a Russian Mi-8 helicopter shot down by a missile from a Magura V5 naval drone.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
The Russian pilot panickedly explains the consequences of the fire damage to the aircraft.
"There was a bang - I was hit. It was a water launch. After that, there was another flash. I didn't see where it went, but the first one hit me directly and exploded somewhere nearby - I felt it on the helicopter, some systems failed," the occupier said.
Another Russian Mi-8 helicopter crashed into the Black Sea after a missile attack from the "Magura" offshore platform by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine's special forces.
Earlier it was reported that on 31 December 2024, soldiers of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine's "Group 13" special unit hit an air target for the first time in history using a Magura V5 naval strike drone equipped with missile weapons.
