During the 5 months of the Kursk operation, the Russians lost more than 38,000 of their soldiers, about 15,000 of them irretrievably.
According to Censor.NET, this was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Today is exactly five months since the start of our actions in Kursk region, and we are maintaining a buffer zone on Russian territory, actively destroying Russian military potential there. During the Kursk operation, the enemy has already lost more than 38,000 of its soldiers in this area alone, about 15,000 of them irretrievably.
The Russians have deployed their strongest units to the Kursk region, with soldiers from North Korea involved. It is important that the occupier cannot now direct all this force to other areas - areas in Ukraine, in particular in the Donetsk region, in particular against Sumy, in particular in Kharkiv or Zaporizhzhia.
I thank all our soldiers who are bringing the war back home to Russia and giving more security and more strength to Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.
