Moskalkova claims that Ukrainian military "gave shirts off their backs" to residents of Russia’s Kursk region. VIDEO
Russian Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova, in an address to members of the Russian State Duma, said that Ukrainian servicemen gave the shirts off their backs to the residents of the Kursk region, which is now under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was reported by the Russian media, Censor.NET reports.
She spoke about cases when Ukrainian soldiers shared food with residents of the Kursk region and saved them from danger.
According to her, "Ukrainian soldiers are different".
"We worked with the guys who returned from captivity, bringing back residents of the Kursk region. They had been taken by the Ukrainian military to Sumy, and from Sumy through Belarus to Russia. They told different stories. They also told how Ukrainian soldiers brought them food and "gave the shirts off their backs". Ukrainians are different," the Russian ombudsman said.
Moskalkova also said that the Ukrainian military allegedly rescued residents of Kursk region from "mercenaries" with whom the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly came, adding that "they have nothing sacred".
She stressed that we should not "lose our humanity" and see Ukraine only as an "evil empire".
