The explosions during the nighttime attack in Rostov region occurred in an area with important military facilities, including airfields and the headquarters of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the NSDC's Centre for Countering Disinformation.
"There were explosions in the Selmash area, where important military facilities are located.
In particular, there are two military airfields, one of which uses civilian infrastructure converted for military use. S-400 air defence systems have also been spotted in the area," the report said.
In addition, the city is home to the headquarters of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation, which coordinates the fighting in southern Ukraine.
"Earlier, ammunition depots and technical facilities related to the logistics of the Russian army were spotted on the territory of the Selmash plant," Kovalenko said.
As a reminder, overnight, Russian air defence forces allegedly shot down 36 Ukrainian drones over four regions of Russia.
