He wanted to have Russian passport but ended up wounded and beaten by Russian commander: story of mercenary from Kyrgyzstan. VIDEO

Kyrgyz citizen Altynbek Ibraimov joined the Russian forces to obtain citizenship. However, the promised "quiet service as a driver" quickly turned into a "meat assault," where he was abandoned.

Ibraimov, a private and rifleman of the 1st Slavic Brigade, 2nd Battalion, 4th Company, was captured in the Pokrovske sector by soldiers of the 425th Skala Assault Regiment. He stated that a Ukrainian drone, "Baba Yaga," struck the occupiers' position with anti-tank mines. After being wounded in the leg, he received no aid—his commander struck him in the head with a rifle butt and left him behind.

The prisoner also noted that among the Russian forces, he encountered mercenaries from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, who had likewise joined the war in exchange for the promise of Russian citizenship.
