Zelenskyy holds meeting of Staff of Supreme Commander-in-Chief: drone production and missile programme implementation discussed. VIDEO

On Friday, 28 March, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The key issue was the development of drones in Ukraine.

The head of state said this in a video message, Censor.NET reports.

"I held a meeting of Staff of Supreme Commander-in-Chief. We had a very detailed discussion of the development of drones in Ukraine: contracts, finance, technical issues, production. Our task is to clearly increase the supply to the troops, as well as maximize the technological advantages of our Ukrainian drones," the president said.

Zelenskyy was also briefed on the results of the destruction of the Shaheds by interceptor drones.

"We are working to increase the production of jet drones, as well as fiber-optic drones - this is very important right now, one of the key things, and we need sufficient supplies to the troops," the head of state said.

In addition, implementation of the missile program, namely the maximum acceleration of production was discussed at the meeting of Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief

"We are also working to ensure that Ukraine builds its own production of anti-aircraft missile systems and all the necessary air defense systems," the president said.

According to Zelenskyy, during meetings in Europe and earlier in negotiations with other partners, the localization of production in Ukraine was discussed.

"The localization of some air defense systems, the localization of missiles for them - we must definitely come to this," the president said.
