President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a conversation with Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi on the situation on the frontline.
Zelenskyy said this in his video address, Censor.NET reports.
"Today, I spoke with Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi about the situation at our frontline, including in those areas where our forces are operating in Russia. We remain active, preventing the occupier from entering the territory of the Sumy region and our Kharkiv region. I thank all our units for their resilience - all of them, from Kursk to the southern directions," the President said.
Zelenskyy also praised the 225th Separate Assault Regiment, the soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade, the Special Operations Forces for their effective actions to destroy the enemy, and the 35th Separate Marine Brigade for their effectiveness in the battles in the Pokrovske sector.
"Thank you all, warriors! You are the real deal! I thank each and every one of you who helps the army, who works in all our defence enterprises, who provides for our army. I thank everyone who tells the world the truth about what is happening in Ukraine. Ukraine's strong position in everything and effective work for our country is what helps us bring peace to the world. Thank you all! Glory to Ukraine!" Zelenskyy added.
