Zelenskyy announces new sanctions against Russia’s shadow fleet, propagandists, and "certain officials". VIDEO
In an evening video address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced new packages of Ukrainian sanctions.
According to Censor.NET, the video was published in a telegram from the head of state.
"We are preparing our own Ukrainian sanctions packages—there is a solid basis for them provided by the security services. These are strong packages—targeting the shadow tanker fleet used by Moscow to finance the war, targeting war propagandists—those who are essentially trying to weaken our defense and assist Russia, and also targeting certain officials—names well known to all Ukrainians, people who once held influence. The relevant decrees are currently being prepared; everything will be implemented step by step. We are also working to synchronize our sanctions packages with the decisions of our partners, first and foremost in the European Union and other powerful jurisdictions around the world," Zelenskyy said.
