Soldiers of 58th Separate Mechanized Brigade hit Russian EW station 15 km behind front line. VIDEO

A high-value target was hit by FPV pilots of the 3rd Motorized Infantry Battalion of the 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade north of Kharkiv. At a distance of 15–17 km from the front line, they caught a specialized electronic warfare/electronic intelligence vehicle on the move.

The corresponding video was published on the unit's channel, according to Censor.NET.

The video quality does not allow the vehicle to be identified with 100% certainty, but it is definitely designed for EW/ELINT tasks. A ladder on the rear indicates the crew regularly works on the roof, for example, deploying antennas. A module in front of the cab, covered with camouflage netting, is clearly a cooling system for power-hungry electronic equipment.

The external features may indicate a modern and expensive system: the R-330Zh "Zhitel" radio jamming station. It jams radio communications at ranges of up to 25 km, and up to 50 km when working against aircraft. The Zhitel can pinpoint the coordinates of radio emission sources.
