Ukraine returned 2,000 deported children and continues work on returning others - Zelenskyy. VIDEO
Ukraine has managed to return 2,000 children home who were illegally held under Russian control. The return took place within the Bring Kids Back UA initiative with the participation of state structures, non-governmental organizations, and international partners.
As Censor.NET informs, this was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Today we have an important result — 2,000 Ukrainian children who were successfully returned home from under Russian control within the Bring Kids Back UA initiative," the President reported.
As Zelenskyy noted, each of these returns became possible thanks to the daily work of our people, non-governmental organizations, and international partners.
"We are grateful to everyone who joined this struggle for the future of our children, our country, and the entire free world," the President emphasized.
"We still have a long and difficult road ahead. Thousands of Ukrainian children still remain hostages of Russia, becoming victims of its crimes every day. But we will not stop until we return every Ukrainian child home," Zelenskyy assured.
