Russia strikes Kherson: one dead, homes destroyed. VIDEO
On the morning of 24 March, Russian forces launched an attack on Kherson, killing one person and damaging at least 11 buildings.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation, at around 04:15, Russian forces launched an artillery strike on Kherson.
A 62-year-old man who was in the house sustained fatal injuries. Information regarding other casualties is being clarified.
At least 11 private homes have been damaged.
A 64-year-old woman from Kherson, who was injured as a result of enemy shelling of the Central District, was also taken to hospital, said Yaroslav Shanko, head of the CMA. The woman has a concussion, blast injuries and a closed head injury.
Medical staff provided on-site treatment to another victim, a 65-year-old man. He also suffered concussion, blast injuries and a closed head injury.
Shelling of the Kherson region over the past 24 hours
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have targeted social infrastructure and residential areas in the region’s settlements, damaging three high-rise buildings and 26 private homes.The occupiers also damaged an administrative building, office premises, outbuildings, agricultural machinery, private garages and cars.
Eight people were injured as a result of the Russian aggression.
