Defence Intelligence shows destruction of Russian Bastion system in Crimea: another one damaged, occupiers suffer losses. VIDEO
On the night of 24 March, specialists from the Unmanned Systems Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine detected a column of ‘Bastion-M’ launchers in Crimea, which was moving towards its positions.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the DIU press centre.
As noted, accurate strikes by intelligence operators destroyed one of the launchers and two costly Zircon missiles, while another Bastion system was damaged.
Occupiers eliminated
According to Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence, seven occupiers were killed or wounded.
"The army of the aggressor state uses Zircon missiles as part of the Bastion system primarily to terrorise Ukraine’s civilian population, in particular in the southern and eastern regions. Tonight, the aggressor’s plans to attack peaceful cities were thwarted," the statement said.
Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence reminded that every war crime committed against the Ukrainian people will be met with just retribution.
