Fighters of the 79th Separate Tavriia Air Assault Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces, during a combat mission, showed the empty streets and destroyed houses of the settlement of Shevchenko, 10 km north of Pokrovsk.

According to Censor.NET, this is a frontline settlement that Russian forces are methodically destroying with constant air and artillery strikes.

The GoPro footage was recorded at the end of February by one of the brigade’s soldiers.

The paratroopers also add that the battered and depopulated settlement conveys the atmosphere of emptiness that the enemy leaves everywhere it can reach.

"Our task is not to let this ruin advance any further," the Ukrainian defenders comment under the released video.
