Ukrainian defenders have shared spectacular footage showing the Queen of Hornets drone upgraded with a grenade launcher.
Censor.NET reports that Wild Hornets had previously said that servicemen from BULAVA, a unit of the Unmanned Systems Battalion of the Separate Presidential Brigade, had already mounted a machine gun on an interceptor drone.
The footage shows the UAV’s stability during the grenade launcher firing, as well as the direct hit on the enemy position.
Among the key advantages of the Queen of Hornets are:
- the ability to be repaired quickly, right in the field;
- maximum speed of 160 km/h;
- flight range of up to 20 km;
- flight endurance of 25 minutes;
- warhead weight of up to 9 kg.
The drone is equipped with two 6s4p batteries and a drop system.
