"The enemy’s activity in recent times, specifically in terms of assault operations, has increased significantly in our defence sectors in the Lyman and Kupiansk sectors.

Such assault operations are observed almost daily. The same is true of the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy’s attempts at assault operations have been ongoing for quite some time," he said.

The situation on the border with Russia

"I can note that the activity of enemy infantry groups within the Sumy region has decreased somewhat, in the defence sectors where positions are held by border guard units.

However, such actions continue within the Kharkiv region, particularly in the direction of the settlement of Vovchanski Khutory and generally within the Vovchansk district, including in the direction of the settlement of Dehtiarne, as well as Dvorichanske," added Demchenko.

The State Border Guard Service spokesperson recalled that last week, 266 occupiers were killed, a further 365 were wounded, and two were taken prisoner.

The occupiers were taken prisoner specifically in the Vovchansk direction.
