The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, met with General Keith Kellogg, who had travelled from Odesa to Kyiv to take part in the Veterans’ Forum.
Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel, according to Censor.NET.
"Thank you for this mark of respect for Ukrainian soldiers, who defend Ukraine and the entire Euro-Atlantic area every day under extremely difficult conditions," Zelenskyy emphasised.
According to him, he and Kelly discussed the intensification of Russian strikes on infrastructure and civilians, and the top priority in defence is, of course, anti-ballistic defence.
"I informed the general about our work with the Europeans to create an anti-ballistic system, but to get through this winter, the supply of interceptors forthe ‘Patriots’ is indispensable. Ukraine is ready to purchase them, and any efforts in this direction are important," the head of state concluded.
