President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that legendary American boxer Terence Crawford, who has supported Ukraine and its people since the first days of the war, is visiting the country.

Symbolic gift
"Legendary American boxer Terence Crawford is in Ukraine today. He has supported our country and our people since the first days of the war. We greatly appreciate having people like him alongside Ukrainian men and women," Zelenskyy wrote.
As a gesture of solidarity, Crawford gave Zelenskyy a female American Pit Bull Terrier puppy named Freya.
More about the puppy
- According to the president, her grandfather Atos survived the Russian occupation of Bucha, while Freya was named after the future FREYJA air defence system as a symbol of Ukraine’s protection.
Zelenskyy thanked Crawford for the meeting, the warm and special gift, and his support for and respect towards the Ukrainian people.
