A video has appeared online showing Ukrainian aircraft in action whilst defending Ukrainian airspace.

According to Censor.NET, the crew of a MiG-29MU1 fighter successfully intercepted and destroyed a Russian S8000 ‘Banderol’ drone missile.

The pilots had only a matter of seconds to decide whether to retreat or do everything possible to protect their loved ones. Manoeuvring at extremely low altitudes, the Ukrainian pilots carried out a precise launch of an R-60 air-to-air missile, completely destroying the enemy "Banderol" in mid-air.

The footage released demonstrates the exceptional skill of Ukrainian aviators, who risk their lives every day whilst flying at the very limits of flight capabilities to ensure the safety of Ukrainians.
