Drone operators from the 125th Separate Heavy Mechanised Brigade intercepted and destroyed a Russian ‘Prince Vichiy Oleg’ reconnaissance UAV.
According to Censor.NET, the pilots used STING interceptor drones from the ‘Wild Hornets’ unit to take down the Russian drone at an altitude of 3,600 metres, which is unusual for this type of aircraft.
The reconnaissance UAV was destroyed whilst in flight, before it had a chance to carry out its reconnaissance mission.

‘Prince Vichiy Oleg’ is a new Russian reconnaissance system designed to carry out reconnaissance operations.
The drone’s stated maximum speed is 130 km/h, its maximum flight altitude is 3,000 metres, its range is 45 km, and its flight duration is up to 3.5 hours.
Ukrainian operators shot down the drone at an altitude of 3,600 metres, which exceeds the maximum flight altitude stated by the manufacturer.
