Ukraine's national flag taken to Verkhovna Rada Aug. 24, 1991. VIDEO+PHOTOS

Famous Ukrainian photographer Efrem Lukatsky has published a unique 1991 picture on the occasion of Ukraine's National Flag Day.

As reported by Censor.NET, he posted a photo capturing the moment of Ukraine's national flag being solemnly brought into the parliament Aug. 24, 1991.

"This is how the flag was taken to the parliament of Ukraine. Kyiv, Aug. 24, 1991. This is the first time I've published this photo," Lukatsky wrote.
