The funeral ceremony took place in the deceased hero's home village. Several hundred people came to pay the last tribute.

Kniaziev died from a gunshot wound to the head in the Luhansk region on March 13.

He served in the 24th separate mechanized brigade since Aug. 2016. He is survived by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
