Orban: Hungary will support allocation of €50 billion to Ukraine when EU unblocks all funds frozen for Budapest

Hungary will not support Ukraine’s new EU aid package until the bloc pays all funds frozen for Budapest. The country should "get everything that belongs to it".
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, Censor.NET reports with reference to Bloomberg.
"This is a great opportunity for Hungary to make it clear that it should get everything it deserves," the Hungarian prime minister said in his weekly radio interview from Brussels.
The European Commission this week agreed to unblock a third of about 30 billion euros that had been frozen over the rule of law and bribery concerns after Hungary adopted changes related to the judiciary.
When EU leaders meet again early next year to consider a 50 billion euro aid package for Ukraine, Orbán said, Hungary will first ensure it receives all its funds.
Although Hungary abstained in the vote on Ukraine's EU membership talks that allowed them to begin, Orbán said he still opposes the decision and is prepared to veto Ukraine's accession later in the process.
