EU and G7 Threaten Russia with New Sanctions

G7 member states and the European Union announced their intention to impose new sanctions against Russia in the case of non-compliance with the Minsk agreements.

The foreign ministers of G7 and the EU High Representative claimed this, Censor.NET reports citing Agence France-Presse.

In addition, the state leaders once again voiced conditions for Moscow, which will prevent the introduction of new restrictions. According to the Minsk agreements, Russia must withdraw its troops and equipment, as well as to ensure the security on the border with Ukraine and the release of all prisoners who are held by the Russia-backed militants.

Also, the leaders of the Group of Seven and the EU obligate to assist Ukraine with the onset of winter and take part in rebuilding the country's economy.
