Rovenky Town Residents Held a Rally Against 'LPR'

On Saturday, September 27, over 200 residents of Rovenky town (Luhansk region) came out to protest against the Luhansk People's Republic terrorist organization.

As Censor.NET informs, referring to UNIAN, the rally was mostly attended by local pensioners, but some young people also came. They protested because the authorities of the so-called LPR promise to pay pensions and salaries, but do not fulfill the promise.

Protests against the fact that humanitarian aid is stolen and does not reach the people, many of whom are single elderly people and suffer from hunger, were also h eard.

"There is no water in the town, and it is unknown whether central heating will work. Besides, the residents argued against the street crimes, committed by drunk and armed representatives of the LPR, as well as Kadyrovtsy. There are lots of military vehicles and equipment in the town," the protesters noted.

At the end of the protest the people collected signatures for a petition to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine requesting to give out people's salaries and pensions.
