EU Will Ratify Association with Ukraine Until the End of 2015

EU countries will ratify the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement until the end of 2015.

Censor.NET citing Ukrinfrom reports that this was stated by Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis.

"The rest of the (EU) Member States will ratify (the Agreement) before the end of next year, so that it comes into effect together with the Free Trade Area the Agreement will start working in full in 2016," Perebyinis said.

According to him, as of today the Association Agreement has been ratified by Lithuania, Bulgaria, Malta and Slovakia.

On September 16, the Verkhovna Rada and the European Parliament ratified the agreement on the EU-Ukraine Association.
