MP Popov’s son gets five-year suspended sentence for robbery

As reported by Censor.NET, both defendants got a five-year suspended sentence.

Such a lenient punishment was imposed on them since they were under age and pleaded guilty.

As reported, the son of a member of Oleh Lyashko's Radical Party faction Popov and his accomplice, born in 2002, broke into the grocery store at Kyiv's Rokossovskyi Avenue on Nov. 26, 2017. Both attackers were later detained. The law enforcers found a balaclava and a starter pistol on the lawmaker's son.
