10 people were killed and another 10 were injured as a shuttle bus crashed into and a truck on Kyiv-Chop highway in the Zhytomyr region.
As reported by Censor.NET citing the statement by the local police communications department, the accident occurred near the village of Hlybochytsia, the Zhytomyr region, around 10:40 a.m.
The shuttle bus, supposedly heading for Kyiv from Rivne, collided with a DAF truck shortly before reaching Zhytomyr.
The latest update as of 11:30 a.m. says that the accident claimed 10 lives. Another 10 persons who received injuries of varying severity were taken to healthcare facilities.
Police, rescuers and paramedics are working at the scene. The circumstances of the deadly car crash are being established.
