EP adopts report stating Russia cannot be EU's strategic partner

The European Parliament adopted a resolution on the state of political relations between the EU and Russia, which excludes any strategic cooperation with the latter.
RFE/RL journalist in Brussels Rikard Jozwiak wrote on Twitter, Censor.NET reports.
"EP has voted in favour of a report stating that Russia can't be considered "a strategic partner"", journalist reported.
He mentioned that an amendment favoured by Greens, S&D & ALDE calling for resumption of EU-Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee which has been suspended since Crimea annexation failed narrowly.
