Ukraine Refused to Purchase Canadian F-18 Fighters
Canada offered Ukraine to buy a few dozen of F-18 fighters.
Former Deputy Defense Minister Leonid Poliakov said on Channel 24, Censor.NET reports referring to Liga.net
According to Poliakov, the Ministry of Defence rejected the offer.

High operational cost of expensive military equipment, as well as long term necessary to retrain pilots were cited as reasons for the refusal.
It was reported earlier that Canada offered Ukraine to purchase fighters in July 2014. Aircraft are in the inventory of Canadian Army. After the refusal Ottawa supplied the ATO forces with equipment.
