Volker warns Ukraine leader against settling political scores

Former US State Department Special Representative for Ukraine, influential American diplomat Kurt Walker commented on the persecution of the fifth President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on his Twitter page.

As prosecutors issued Mr Poroshenko a notice of suspicion, Kurt Volker, the former US special envoy to Ukraine, tweeted: "With everyone guilty of something, the choice of whom to prosecute is a political decision. A better decision: build national unity in face of Russian aggression in Donbas and Crimea, as Zelensky said in [an] Aug 24 [Independence Day] speech."
