Poroshenko proposes to introduce peacekeepers in Eastern Ukraine

President Petro Poroshenko at the NSDCE meeting proposed to introduce EU peacekeepers in the Donbas.

At a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council President Petro Poroshenko proposed the introduction of the peacekeepers from the European Union to the Donbas.

Addressing the members of the National Security Council he noted: "Today you will be invited to discuss the invitation of the UN peacekeepers to Ukraine, which will operate in accordance with the mandate of the UN Security Council. The best format is the EU Police Mission."
