Naftohaz resumed supply of gas to ATO area

National Joint Stock Company Naftohaz Ukrainy has resumed gas supplies to the Donbas.

This was announced today by Naftohaz Chairman of the Board Andrii Kobolev at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.

"A large number of gas pipelines were destroyed by gunshots, explosions, part of the pipeline was mined. The Ukratranshaz crew is doing everything possible to ensure the supply of gas throughout the territory of Ukraine; constant restoration work was underway and is continuing at this time. Today, the situation was the most severe, because in the last five-six hours our services could not reach those pipelines that could restore the full supply into the ATO area. Now we have this opportunity and the supply has been restored," Kobolev said.

He noted that Naftohaz cannot confirm that Gazprom started gas supplies to the Donbas, but in case of confirmation of this fact it will be in breach of the contract between the two companies.
